Several months ago, Lani experienced the unthinkable: the loss of her son, Kai, in a tragic accident during one of their favorite hiking adventures. They were inseparable. He was her sunshine on cloudy days, her biggest supporter, and her reason to keep going when life got hard. One of her favorite photos of them together was taken during a spontaneous trip to the coast, where they laughed until sunset, arms wrapped tight in the chill of the sea breeze. It was that memory that she clung to during the hardest nights.

When Lani reached out to us, she asked if we could turn that special photo into something she could wear. Not just on her skin, but close to her heart.
